Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick

Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick was elected to the 117th Congress, and represents Florida’s 20th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives (January 11, 2022-Present). She serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Before Congress, she was Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Operations for a home health care company. Cherfilus-McCormick earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from the St. Thomas University School of Law.
