Congressman Glenn Ivey represents Maryland’s 4th Congressional District in the 118th U.S. House of Representatives (January 3, 2023-Present). Before Congress, Ivey was an attorney who served on Capitol Hill as chief counsel to the Senate Majority Leader Senator Paul Sarbanes during the Whitewater investigations, as Chief Majority Counsel to the Senate Banking Committee, and on the staff of Rep. John Conyers (D-MI). Ivey also worked for U.S. Attorney Eric Holder as an assistant U. S. Attorney and chair of Maryland’s Public Service Commission. He was twice elected State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, Maryland. In Congress, he serves on the House Committee on the Judiciary, the House Committee on Homeland Security, and the House Committee on Ethics. Ivey is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
