Congressman Don Davis represents the 1st Congressional District of North Carolina in the 118th U.S. House of Representatives (January 3, 2023-Present). Before his election to Congress, Davis was a dedicated educator and public servant, having served as the youngest Mayor of the city of Snow Hill and on the North Carolina State Senate for several terms. In addition, he served as assistant professor of Aerospace Studies at East Carolina University Air Force ROTC Detachment 600, where he taught national security affairs, military history, and leadership courses. Davis serves on the Agriculture Committee (Vice ranking member) and House Armed Services Committees. Davis is a United States Air Force Academy graduate and was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.
