Artur Davis

Congressman Artur Davis represented Alabama’s 7th Congressional District from 2003 to 2011 (108th-111th Congresses). Before Congress, Davis practiced law privately and was an Assistant U.S. District Attorney. In Congress, Davis served on the Budget, Financial Services, House Administration, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees. Davis’s legislative agenda focused on schools, medical care, and transportation infrastructure. Davis graduated from Harvard University and earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
