Barbara-Rose Collins

Congresswoman Barbara-Rose Collins represented congressional districts in Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1991 to 1997 (102nd-104th Congresses). Her committee assignments included the Public Works and Transportation; Transportation and Infrastructure; Government Operations; Government Reform and Oversight; Post Office and Civil Service; Science, Space, and Technology; and the Select Children, Youth, and Families Committees. She chaired the Postal Operations and Services Subcommittee. In her hometown of Detroit, she has served as a member of the public school board, a city council member, and a member of the Michigan House of Representatives. She attended Wayne State University.
